"I was so fortunate to be introduced to Kate at Quickstepz. After the acquired birth injury of my daughter, we were thrown into this new world of therapy but luckily other than the standard service offerings there are people out there like Kate. She actually takes the time to listen and learn about your child. She's a wealth of knowledge yet does not presume anything. Her passion for helping the children in a setting that can only be described as nurturing and fun, takes away the stigma of making them work hard. Her methods are both extremely effective and fun. She loves and connects with the child on a personal basis-our Emily adores her! And she engages and talks and expects the utmost from each little person she comes across. Our Emily is very severe in her disability (being a non-verbal quadriplegic), however she does communicate if you let her take her time and if you get to know her, but this was never an issue with Kate.We saw Emily grow in leaps and bounds doing the therapy with Kate, from mastering her sensory issues to obtaining more control of her vestibular system. But one of my favourite things about working with Kate is how wholistic she is and how she encourages other therapies that may help your child. She has a drive to understand and to increase her own knowledge and abilities as a therapist so my child gets to consistently improve and develop with everything she brings to the therapy space. We love Kate."

"Kate Boyce is quite simply the best in her field. To be the best in field you have to be a talented and compassionate about what you do and how you do it. That’s Kate! We started seeing her when my son was less than two years old. Kate could see problems with my sons’ development and highlighted her concerns to me…..long before any paediatricians would listen and agree with me.
Kate has been with us for the whole journey, from diagnosis, processing the pain of what diagnosis meant, treatment programs, support, guidance and most importantly she gave us a plan. A plan for the next week, the next year and the future. Not something just written on paper, but something tangible and dynamic. As a mother with a newly diagnosed intellectual disability in her son, that was totally life changing, Kate provided me with HOPE. It still sustains me to this day.
Kate is gifted in the area sensory processing and sensory regulation as well as all the usual skills of a talented OT. She works so well with babies, young kids and school age children. She also comes into the preschool and/or school environment as required to help your child. My son has responded so well to his customised program and will continue to do so. Thank you KATE!"

"When pre-school suggested we have my son assessed by an occupational therapist, I was a little scared and unsure, not having had any exposure to kids with therapy needs. I was also scared for what it may mean for my son. It was overwhelming and a lot to learn, but Kate was a safe harbour of insight, calm and a font of information. She is highly intelligent and incredibly knowledgeable – it is clear she loves kids and has a gift in interacting with them. She has deep wonderful emotional intelligence also which is so important when working with kids. She is flexible and fun, and if you’re finding something hard, she has so much advice and goes above and beyond to help. She is creative in helping to find solutions that will work for you and your child.
How can I put into words what a gift Kate is? She is incredibly insightful, thoughtful, observant and a gifted occupational therapist. She is driven to see her clients succeed and overcome obstacles in their lives, and she cares so much for your child that she will move mountains to help them.
My advice to any parent wanting to work with Kate is: literally do everything she says. She has so much insight, experience and knowledge, so take it all on board and follow her suggestions to the letter. Kate is so passionate about her work and does all she can to help children improve, grow and be all they can be. She is engaging and a great communicator, which is so crucial when you are learning about new and in depth things you don’t know anything about. I cannot recommend Kate any more highly, she is an outstanding occupational therapist and individual".
"Kate has helped not only my daughter, but my whole family. She is a fantastic therapist who is extremely passionate about what she does and she consistently shows how much she really cares. She goes above and beyond to help us and provides strategies and exercises that are achievable to do both in a therapy room and at home. Her help has been invaluable".

"We have been working with Kate for a little over 6 months now. She is a wonderful therapist, not just with my daughter but with us as parents l, supporting us through what was a very difficult process in receiving a diagnosis for our daughter. She is thoughtful, knowledgeable and unbelievably motivated when it comes to making things happen for our little one and providing us with the right tools to help our daughter. Kate is definitely one of the best occupational therapists that I have come across."

"Kate has been a true blessing to our family! She has helped us understand our son’s developmental needs better and she’s given us the tools we need to support him on his journey. She carefully listens to our concerns and addresses each of them quickly and accurately. The number one thing we love first and foremost is that Kate genuinely shows and proves that she cares and loves Vincent and our family as if we were family to her. Her approach is unique and it works!"

"After attending our first session with Kate, I knew we had found someone special to be my daughter’s therapist. She is passionate about her job, and compassionate in nature. My daughter loves attending therapy and can’t get into the room quick enough. I’ve seen her develop so much since her first session, and it is just incredible to see how far she has come".

"Kate...I have no words to express how I feel about Kate. She has been a blessing to my child who was born with a rare condition called Arthrogryposis (i learned about it when he was born). Unfortunately, I met Kate when Azfar was almost 6 months old. I feel I wasted all this time because when I met Kate I realized what all Azfar has missed since his birth. Kate is absolutely amazing in handling kids. Her way of treating kids is exceptional. Her sessions are filled with fun and her style is totally unorthodox! She is very sincere, devoted and committed to her work. Her passion is reflected in the way she handles Azfar. She has gone beyond her capacity / limits in finding the best for Azfar; be it finding an appropriate physiotherapist, useful equipment, hands therapist, talking to his Peadiritician, etc. In every session, she teaches me techniques to use at home to get the best out of Azfar, despite his physical limitations / condition. Azfar is very lucky to have found Kate. I would highly recommend her to all the mothers who have kids who need Occupational Therapy".
